What is Investment Migrant?

Our Investor business migration visas are for investors who want to gain residence in New Zealand. The Investor Visa (Investor 2 Category) is an option if you plan to invest a minimum of NZ$1.5 million over a four year period. If you’re looking to invest $NZ10 million or more then the Investor Plus Visa (Investor 1 Category) could be a better option. Below are the main differences between these two options.

What conditions need to apply for Investment Migrant?

Investment Migrant is divided into two types: Investor and Investor Plus

Basic flow of Investment Migrant Category

1. Submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to Immigration New Zealand;

2. Immigration New Zealand assess EOI, issue Invitation to apply;

3. It will enter the official immigrant flow, when applicants received the invitation to apply. Applicants need to provide the documents including passport, certification of health and character, certification of fund etc.

4. Immigration New Zealand will assess the application. If the applicant meet all criteria, the immigration NZ will issue the Resident Visa with condition.

5. 2 years after applicants received the Resident Visa with condition, the immigration NZ will review applicant’s investment situation. If it meets immigration NZ’s requirement, the applicants will received the Permanent Resident Visa.
